Description
Audio Sense intelligently supervises the daily impact on your hearing from earphone-use. By analyzing the duration and noise intensity of your music listening, podcasts and other audio, Audio Sense warns the user if the maximum daily dosage is reached. AudioSense is referring to the latest science regarding how large music dose you can endure. Works with all types of music players and streaming apps.

AudioSense is lying in the background, detecting when you listening to audio and show a warning if the threshold limit is reached.

AudioSense automatically detects your type of device and your OS version. You need to choose the type of headphones you are using. In this way AudioSense is adjusted to measure the correct combination of device and headphones, and thereby the correct earphone volume level.

Main Screen
The main screen shows two numbers. The top one is time left at the present volume level, before you are in risk of hearing impact. The bottom number is your daily dose left in percentage, starting at 100% and decreasing towards 0%. When reaching 0% you are in risk if you keep listening to audio. From the lower left corner, you can swipe up an info screen, explaining the different functions.

Settings
In the Settings menu, you are able to adjust your protection. You can tab on each of the functions to make a description appear.
You can enable/disable several features.
- Dynamic ear protections, gradually turns down the volume, while you are listening to music. Thereby, you will never reach the threshold value, since AudioSense controls the volume. Very suitable for kids.
- Limit notification should be enabled if you want a notification when a certain Daily dose notification is met. It is recommended to enable this feature.
- Headphone notification should be enabled to achieve a notifcation every time you insert a headphone. This should be enabled if you often use your device to play music through a Hi-Fi or other loud speakers. The sound played through Hi-Fi should not be included in the AudioSense calculation, and therefore you need to answer ’No’ to the question ’Have you inserted headphones?’.
- Daily dose notification adjusts the dose, which is left when the notification is given.
- Max volume limit let you insert a max volume, and after returning to the main page, it is not possible for the user to turn the volume to more than the chosen limit.
